Business Engineering Associate (Entry Level)

The Job

As a Business Engineering Associate, you’ll learn to analyse and solve complex business problems by working directly with client stakeholders to identify key challenges and improvement opportunities. 

You will also support data-driven decision-making, develop performance dashboards, create KPI scorecards, and assist in drafting actionable business cases. Additionally, you’ll gain hands-on experience with low-code platforms, process mining tools like Celonis, and service management tools such as ServiceNow to drive impactful solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Consult with stakeholders to identify and analyse business needs and inefficiencies.
• Translate business objectives into measurable solutions, supporting the design of optimised processes.
• Develop insights using data analytics tools like MS Power BI and deliver actionable reports.
• Leverage low-code tools, process mining platforms, and service management software to design and implement client solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure clear communication when implementing improvements.
• Gain hands-on experience in business process modelling, management, and data-based decision support.

What We're Looking For

We don't expect you to be an expert—what matters most is your willingness to learn and your passion for solving business challenges with technology. 

Familiarity with any of the following will be beneficial:

• Basic understanding of data analytics tools and methodologies (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Interest or experience with low-code platforms, process mining tools (e.g. Celonis), or service management tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
• Familiarity with business process management concepts
• Interest in developing project management and communication skills
• An analytical mindset and a natural inclination to solve problems
• A “can-do” attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of the possibilities IT systems provide for a modern business

You’ll work alongside senior business engineers and cross-functional teams to enhance your skills and have a real impact on client projects. Fluency in both Finnish and English (professional level) is required in this role.

The position is set to start in August 2025, with an initial fixed-term period from August through December (exact dates can be agreed in a flexible manner).
